Initiatives

Our Initiatives have been designed to help companies educate and engage their employees in activities that will improve a specific social issue such as Education, the Environment, and Hunger. These Initiatives make it easy for companies to get involved by providing a variety of community engagement opportunities and as always, Entrepreneurs' Foundation of SVCF staff provides additional customized resources and support as needed. These Initiatives harness the power of our network of companies to generate resources needed to improve social issues in our community.

Entrepreneurs' Foundation of SVCF Education Initiative

As corporate citizenship programs become more aligned with a company's core business, K-12 education has become a primary focus area and important social investment, providing opportunities for employee engagement and community collaboration. The Entrepreneurs' Foundation of SVCF Education Initiative works with corporate citizenship programs to support education through a variety of community partners and projects with in-kind donations, volunteer time, and financial support.

This guide aims to provide a context for the challenges and gaps in K-12 education and examples of ways that companies, governments, and nonprofits are maximizing their people, talents, and other resources to be part of the solution. We encourage you to use this resource guide to think about how your organization can join the collective effort to support youth education and help close these gaps.
